Brief synopsis of programme:
The programme starts with some history of how
jazz evolved in the early days
The BdS Jazztet would then perform pieces from the
Various eras of Jazz
showing how it evolves from The early Marching Bands at
the turn of the Century
to the Dance halls and Jazz clubs to its present form
in this new Millienium
There will also be a brief explanation of the
concept of improvisation which is
the basis of this music style
