Incorporated in 1987 Savoir-Faire is in the Music Recording and Performance business servicing the finest Hotels, Multi National Corporations, Government Organisations, etc since 1987 started by Boni de Souza whilst working in the Hyatt Regency in the 80's Boni has continued as an established Pianist performing in the best Hotels here and working with top-rated Singers and Musicians Besides being a veteran recording musician for the last 20+ years Boni has specialised in music direction and arrangement and has organized and produced "live stage shows" like Harmony Nite 2004,2005,2006,2007 as well as directed the Orchestra or Bands for the Compass Annual awards ceremony 2005, 2006, Down memory lane Shows in 2001,2002 Enterpreneur Awards Ceremony 2003 and other high profile events plus The Tatler Ball 2005,2006 and many more prestigious events The year 1998 was a landmark year in Boni's musical career when he launched an independent music label -"BdS Music" to showcase independent artistes local and foreign who are based in this region. With the BdS Music label came the launch of the 1st CD entitled: "Busy Doing Something" featuring Wendy one of the 1st Female Jazz Flautist to be recorded in the ASEAN region. Wendy has performed on TV - TCS with the BDS Jazztet as well as in fine establishments like the Four Seasons, Shangri-la, Intercontinental, Regent, The Conrad and many more fine establishments The CD has been featured on Radio Stations like 90.5FM 95FM, News Radio 93.8FM & Passion 99.5FM the National Arts Council Station in Singapore. The year 2000 saw the launch of "Eau de Vie" an analog recording produced by Boni de Souza with guests Victor gaskin(USA)Double bass, Farid Ali on guitars(Malaysia) Wendy Low (flute)Sanip Ismail(drums)as well as Lois Chia (cello)Boni De Souza arranged all the music for the album as well as played Piano on all tracks the review for this CD was highlighted in the Straits Times in October 2000 and lots of praise went to all the musicians invloved and as the reviewer put it the music performance on the album was "soto voce" following this BDS Jazztet was invited to perform 2 various jazz venues & events including the Riverwalk Music Festival, Borders Concert series and the Four Seasons Hotel.
